Purpose and method of collecting personal data

Sign or handle the necessary and/or relevant documents regarding the employment of foreign domestic helpers

Sign the Maid-In HK Employment Agency contract, the applicant's information form, the re-election form and the employment contract

  • Ÿ  When contacting the company for inquiries or complaints

  • Ÿ  When using the company's employment agency services

  • Ÿ  To help train staff, improve service quality and enquiries, your conversations with our Customer Service staff may be recorded

 

Type of personal data

Personal data collected by the company includes (but is not limited to) the following:
 

  • Ÿ  Information required by the Immigration Department and/or consulate when handling the required documents or personal data when applying for foreign domestic helpers

  • Ÿ  Information required for verification of your identity, including a copy of the identification document(s) and number(s)

  • Chinese and English names, ID numbers and date of birth of your family members

  • Ÿ  Proof of your relationship certificate

  • Ÿ  Contact phone/email address and other information

  • Ÿ  Proof of your address, including proof of address and/or copy of the lease

  • Ÿ  Your income/asset certificate(s) including proof of income, bank statement or passbook, certificate of deposit, bank or financial account information, etc…

  • Ÿ  You can call our company's hotline and telephone interview for recording.

  • Ÿ  Your email or letter sent to us.

 

Retention of personal data

Personal data will be kept until the original purpose of the collection of the above information, or directly related purposes; unless the above personal data may be kept in accordance with any applicable regulations or contract, and

According to the above criteria and the company's internal procedures, personal data will be cleared in the company's electronics, staff and other storage systems after a specific storage period
